Esco Viva Dual Access Animal Containment Workstation

The Esco VIVA Dual Access Animal Containment Workstation is a modified laminar flow clean bench with unique air-balancing properties to provide personnel and product protection during animal handling procedures. Based on caster wheels, this highly maneuverable cabinet features the Sentinel™ microprocessor and 2 Minihelic® pressure gauges for easy air-flow monitoring and control.

To ensure maximum efficiency and flexibility during operations, the Esco VIVA adopts an open access concept that is designed for cage changing operations. The large 14" work access opening enables ease of insertion and removal of cages from the work zone, while the electrically adjustable height and ergonomically sloped sash deliver maximum user comfort.

Cage cleaning and bedding disposal procedures are now simpler, safer and more productive with the VIVA Bedding Disposal Workstation. Specifically designed for the animal research laboratory, the mobile workstation protects personnel and the lab environment from exposure to allergens and unpleasant odors. The industry-exclusive hydraulic height-adjustable stand allows the work surface height to be adjusted to user preference therefore minimizing strain during repetitive operations. An integrated waste container enables direct disposal of waste items within the work zone.

VIVA® Universal Animal Containment Workstations

Esco Viva Universal Animal Containment Workstation

Esco VIVA Universal Workstation draws on Esco's experience of over 25 years in laminar air flow technology. The enclosure employs two independently balanced ULPA filtration modules to protect animals inside the enclosure from exposure to airbone particulates/ambient contamination, as well as, the operator from exposure to allergens and other potentially hazardous materials. It employs an airflow recirculating design similar to a Class II Type A2 biosafety cabinet (operating principles described below).

Featuring an ergonomically sloped front design and integrated carbon filters to remove odors emitted, the VIVA Universal Workstation ensures the comfort of the operator during operations. Coupled with the standard protective features of precise airflow engineering, ULPA filtration techniques, Esco Sentinel™ Microprocessor control and Isocide™ antimicrobial powder coating , the VIVA Universal Workstation represents a complete solution to your need for ergonomics, reinforced safety and operations efficiency in animal handling operations.
