BDU230 Series Bedding Disposers

SMC Bedding Disposers are provided in manual (for use with a garbage bag-in-can system) and Automatic Grinder versions. Our BDU230 Series Disposer is based on an industrial Insinkerator® unit designed for continuous daily operation for many years. This type of disposal unit is far superior to any hammer-mill unit: not only is it simpler and more robust in design, it is self-cleaning and contains no screens to plug and foul. In addition, service is handled directly through your local Insinkerator® service center, should it ever be necessary. The DU230 can be used as a stand-alone unit, or it can be closely integrated with a new or existing Tunnel Washer.

Disposer Features:

• Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel construction with heavy safety grating/work surface fabricated from 1/2" (1.27 cm) diameter Stainless rods.
• All BDU230 models based upon Insinkerator® commercial/industrial disposal units.
• Controls include automatic Water-Saver feature which controls post-flush and minimizes water usage.
• Optional up-or-down draft dust collection with optional HEPA filtering. Exhaust can be conducted through filters to room or building exhaust.
• Optional hand spray unit on spring-loaded wand for pre-rinse and cleanup.
• Units can be hopper-integrated into the prewash section of a tunnel washer, such that material flow is directly across the disposer into the washer.
